Ricky Raitt's Obituary
RAITT, RICKY WAYNE, age 48, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. Ricky was born on December 2, 1962 in Mesquite, Texas, to Gloria and Richard Raitt. He is a graduate of North Mesquite High School (1981) where he was a standout on the soccer field. Ricky attended Eastfield College, Southern Methodist University and CDI, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1991 with degrees in Business Administration and Microcomputer Programming. He was employed by Capgemini as an IT Manager for 17 years. Ricky was a loving husband, devoted father and loyal friend. He married Anji Kimble Raitt on May 7, 1997, in the British West Indies. They had one son, Riley. He enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching his son’s soccer team and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his beloved wife and son; mother, Gloria Raitt; father, Richard Raitt; brother, Randy Raitt; sister, Cindy Raitt; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
