Rita "Darlene" Brown McNamara's Obituary
Rita “Darlene” Brown McNamara, 80, died on December 9, 2018, in Tyler, Texas. She was born in Eldorado, Arkansas and grew up in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She lived the majority of her adult life in Oklahoma City and in the Dallas/Plano area.Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Clara Courtney, her husband William “Bill” McNamara, her step-son William “Scott” McNamara, grandson Jonathan McNamara, and many beloved aunts and uncles.Darlene will be forever remembered by her son, Kevin Misak, daughter Julie Williamson, step-son Patrick McNamara, grandsons Nicholas Williamson and Richard McNamara, as well many extended family members that she loved dearly.A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Wildwood Chapel of Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas with a reception immediately following.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Darlene may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association: National Headquarters 225 N.
