Rita Traynor Marder's Obituary
Rita was born on April 19, 1930 in Centralia, IL and passed away on April 19, 2016 at her home in Dallas, Texas. Rita is preceded in death by her loving husband Adolph, her parents Daniel and Adelaide Traynor, sisters, brothers and their spouses Mary Traynor, Daniel Traynor, Margie and Roddy Wiley, Patrick and Mary Traynor. Rita is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Ed Gusa, Colleen and George Briskie, and sons and daughters-in-law, Chet and Mindy Marder, Kenneth and Sharla Marder. Rita was happiest being surrounded by her ten grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin and Heidi Gusa, Meredith and Jim Robinson, Eric Gusa, Erin Briskie, Drew and Lillian Marder, Patrick and Jordan Gusa, Bobby Briskie, Matthew and Laura Marder, Megan and Andrew Polly, Kenny Marder, and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Zachary, and Ryan. Rita is also survived by her sisters, Bernardine Ploch, Helen Petrisky, Kathleen Traynor, sisters-in-law, Kay Barlow and Jerry Couch, Greta Marder, and brother-in-law, Don Marder. Rita is dearly loved and leaves wonderful memories with her family and friends, including those from New Orleans where she spent her early married years. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Manchester Place for taking such loving care of her the past four years. Visitation will be on Sunday April 24, from 5 to 7p.m. with Rosary to follow at Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. The Mass of Christian burial will on Monday, April 25th at St. Monica Catholic Church at 9933 Midway Road, Dallas, Texas 75230, at 10:30a.m. with internment to follow at DFW National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at, www.Parkinson.org.
