Rita JoAnn Oliphant's Obituary
Rita JoAnn Oliphant, age 90, passed away on January 1st, 2024, in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born to Arthur and Maurine Howard on December 8th, 1933, in Dallas, Texas. Rita graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1951.
She is survived by her 2 sons, 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents, one son and her loving husband of 34 years, Luther “Nugent” Oliphant.
Rita leaves her loved ones with many great memories and thankfulness for the perfect home that she has in Heaven. She will be sincerely missed by all of her family and the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
