Rita Elizabeth Perkins' Obituary
PERKINS, RITA ELIZABETH (BETH) Went to be with the Lord January 5, 2010. She will be sorely missed by the many friends who almost daily heard her cheery, “Hello, this is Beth” on the phone. She was known for her generous spirit and love of animals. She loved to tease and have special names for different people and things. She is survived by her parents, James and Wynell Perkins of Murphy, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Steve Deutsch of Hershey, Pennsylvania; nephews, Michael and John Deutsch of Hershey. She is also survived by uncles and aunts, John Allen Gentry of Denison, Texas, Jane and Jack Oliver of Homer City, Pennsylvania, Mary and G.F. McGuire of Denison, Texas, Marilyn and Johnny Perkins of Denison, Texas, Marsha Perkins of Bozeman, Montana, Annette and Lonnie Lavender of Venus, Texas, and numerous cousins, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Norman Perkins, Raleigh Glen Weger, and Arnold (Frosty) Perkins; and aunts, Glenna Gentry and Mary Weger. Funeral service will be held January 8th, 2010, at 12:30pm, at Restland Memorial Chapel, Dallas, Texas. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories in Colbert, Oklahoma at 3:45 PM.
