Rita Jeanne Reddy's Obituary
It is with deep sadness but with wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Rita Jeanne Reddy on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born on March 22, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Charles and Nina Williss. Being the oldest, she helped raise two brothers with a motherly passion. She had a generous heart and an appreciation for life’s simple joys.
Rita is survived by her husband William Reddy, her cherished children: daughter Vicky Topper and son Rogert Reddy. She was a proud grandmother to Kelsey Topper, Savanah Reddy, and Nicholas Reddy. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Natalie Reddy, Luke Reddy, Gerard Topper, Olivia Reddy, Nolan Reddy, Wyatt Reddy, and Ambrose Topper. She is survived by her loving family, niece Karen Shetrone, Goddaughters Lisa Moore and Debbie Sander.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Nina Williss, and brothers Ronald and Ralph Willis, and by her grandsons Matthew and Mitchell Topper.
A member of Concordia Lutheran Church of Garland, her faith guided her life, and she lived it with a servant’s heart: thoughtful and devoted to lifting others through her kindness and love.
She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her warm spirit touched countless lives. Rita’s legacy is one of compassion, strength, and devotion – a life lived with grace and purpose. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she shared so freely.
