With broken hearts we share the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother, RJ Alvarade, who left us far too soon at age of 47.
RJ Alvarade was a man of quiet strength, deep curiosity, and endless creativity. Though he built his career in information technology, his true passion lived in the world of art, photography and storytelling. Through his photography, he captured moments that spoke louder than words - the beauty in simple things, the emotions behind every face. In recent years, his creativity continued to grow as he explored producing and podcasting, always seeking new ways to share stories that mattered.
He had a gentle heart and a thoughtful soul. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, his humor, his loyalty and the way he could connect people together. He was the kind of person who listened deeply, loved fiercely and gave more than he ever asked for in return.
RJ Alvarade leaves behind his loving mother, Joscelyn Alvarade, and his brother, Jobee Alvarade, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the art he created, and the love he gave so freely.
A service will be held to honor his life, with plans for a celebration of his creativity and spirit.
Though our hearts ache, we take comfort knowing his light will never fade - it lives on in every story, every photo, and every life he touched.
