Robert Milton Baker's Obituary
Robert Milton Baker, 52 of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 19th, 2025, at his home surrounded by his wife, daughters and family members.
Born on October 4, 1972, Robert was a creative soul with a deep passion for design, music, and craftmanship. He spent his career as a talented graphic designer and luthier, blending visual artistry with the intricate work of guitar-making. His creativity extended into every aspect of his life, from his appreciation of craft beer and collecting Hot Wheels and RC cars, to playing drums in his band - a true outlet for his vibrant energy and spirit.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Baker; daughters, Troy Elizabeth Baker and Riley B Baker; nieces Logan and Allison Freeman, Baylee Davis and Sienna Campbell; nephews, Jordan Freeman and Kier Campbell; grandnieces and nephew, Charlotte Freeman, Teddy and Andie Campbell. He was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Baker, his mother, Kathy Baker and his sister, Shannon Freeman.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th at 11am at First United Methodist Church in Richardson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. A fundraising memorial for the Baker family will also be held on May 25th at Guitars and Growlers in Richardson.
