Robert "Bob" Ballew Stough's Obituary
STOUGH, ROBERT “BOB” BALLEW was born on December 24, 1919 in Haskell, Oklahoma and he passed away on April 25, 2014. His family, Ed and Fawn Stough and brother John, moved to Dallas in August of 1925. Bob attended Robert E. Lee Elementary School and Woodrow Wilson High School graduating in 1937. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1943 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Bob served in the U.S. Navy as an Officer on a L.S.T. in the Pacific from 1944-1946. Bob and his wife Gene owned Southern Nipple Mfg. Co. Bob was a long time member of East Dallas Christian Church and the Sanders Couples class. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gene Farwell Stough after 49 1/2 years of marriage. Bob is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Stough Dugger and husband, Mike and Peggy Stough Edens; 5 grandchildren, Michael Dugger and wife, Janelle, Robert Dugger, Amy Dugger McCullough and husband, James, Tommy Edens and wife, Lori, and Jimmy Edens and wife, Marty; 9 great grandchildren, Trey and Hayley Dugger, Austin and Alyssa Dugger, Brice and Kennedy McCullough, Jordi Edens, Rylee and Adyson Edens; also many loving cousins in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Memorial Service will be held at East Dallas Christian Church on May 05, 2014 at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held in the Great Hall after the service. Many thanks to Juliette Fowler Homes and Faith Presbyterian Hospice for their loving care to our father.
