Robert Earl Bates was born on April 22, 1937 in Madisonville, Texas to David Bryan and Ruth Bates and passed away in Sulphur Springs, Texas on February 10, 2019. He graduated from Ladonia High School and the University of Texas at Arlington. He retired from the Albemarie Corporation where he was a chemist. He is preceded in death by his parent and survived by his son, Kelly R. Bates; daughter, Kami R. Bates; granddaughter, Kashmere N. Bates; brother, Jimmy Bates and Danny Bates; sister, Patsy Redwing and many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.No services will be held.
