Robert G. Bescos' Obituary
Robert G. Bescos, passed away suddenly November 6, 2015 at his home in Wylie TX. Robert was born in Parma Ohio on October 18, 1970 to Dr. Jess and Paquita Bescos. The youngest of three older sisters. On Febuary 13th 1993 Robert married Gretchen Gorman. They have two boys Robert Alexander and Brandon Lewis. He was a loving father and more recently a doting grandfather to Ryder Clay. While he always had a hard time speaking his feelings; his actions showed his family and friends how much they were loved. Robert enjoyed cooking and caring for their “Little Zoo” of exotic animals. He had such a big heart, he would help anyone in need with a smile on his face. A quiet man but with a great sense of humor. His laugh would light up the room. His calm demeanor, inner strength and bear hugs will be forever missed. Robert is survived by his Father Dr. Bescos, In-Laws Lewis and Mary Gorman, wife Gretchen Bescos, beloved children Alex, Brandon, Tristen and grandson Ryder Clay. Dear sisters and brothers Pilar Bescos ,Munir Hazbun, Martha and Shawn Broussard, Jim and Nizi Whiddon and Ginger Rollins. Nieces and nephews that he loved like his own: Ashley and Alyssa Gorham, Victor and Raquel Hazbun, Jonathan and Daniel Whiddon, Alexandra and Annalise Crane, Christina and Nicholas Broussard. Robert was preceded in Death by his Mother Packy “YaYa”, sister Elizabeth Whiddon and brother-in-law Clay Gorman. This loss is great but his Legacy is greater and will last longer. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services for Robert will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Rd in Dallas. Graveside service following immediately at Restland.
