Robert Norwood Bianchi's Obituary
Robert Norwood Bianchi, 73, of Van Alstyne, Texas passed away April 24, 2018 in Allen, Texas. Mr. Bianchi was born September 16, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Theodore Bianchi and Louise Wadley Bianchi. He married Barbara McLarty on September 15, 1973 in Dallas Texas. Robert graduated from North Texas after he attended Texas Tech University. He was Executive Vice-President of sales for Republic Money Order Corp. He retired at age 50 moving to Ouray, Colorado where he was active in Elks BPOE Lodge 492, serving as secretary of the lodge for several years. He wrote a column for the Ouray Plain Dealer for three years, which was very popular with the locals. Bob loved his sports; Texas Tech, Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers, and followed all the golf tournaments. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren. Bob loved God and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Van Alystne. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Barbara; daughter, Susan Coburn and husband Curtis; step-sons, Steve Cuddy and David Cuddy; grandsons, Chase Coburn and Colton Coburn; granddaughter, Heather Cuddy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews
