Bob led a full life and was a special person in our family. Rakishly handsome, full of energy and fun, he was always a welcome guest when he visited our home in Lincoln, Neb., during the holidays. My mother, Nancy, his first cousin, adored him. Paired with his (late) brother Bill, a brilliant Boeing engineer who also played piano and sang like a professional, they were quite a package. Their parents, my great aunt and uncle, Flodell and Earl Bragg, were justifiably proud of their accomplished sons. I remember as a child seeing Bob in his crisp U.S. Air Force uniform, the outward expression of his lifelong patriotism. He joined ROTC in college and went on to serve his country.
He retired from Active Reserves in 1990 as a Lieutenant Colonel. We send our love and condolences to his family.
May he Rest in Peace.
