Robert Eli Brown's Obituary
BROWN, ROBERT ELI of Dallas and Cedar Creek Lake, born May, 9, 1917, in Dallas, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 26, 2007, at the age of 90. Survived by his loving wife, best friend, and partner of 71 years, Ina Nual Austin Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Anna Brown; brothers, Edward and Charles (Mickey); sisters, Francis,Mary and Carolyn Sue. Also survived by brother, Roy Brown and wife Jane; sister, Betty Bethune and husband Spencer; sisters-in-law, Era Nell Brown, Katherine (Spud) Brown, Alma Lawson and husband Lewis, Theresa Lambert and husband Lee Wayne and Margie Hall; daughters, Jerri Lynn McCormack and husband John, and Vicki Myers; grandchildren, Lauri Lynn Myers, Chad Lawrence and wife Shelley, Nathan McCormack and wife Jennifer, Bethany Watts and husband Danny, and Ina McCormack; 4 great-grandchildren, Connor, Catelyn and Cooper Lawrence and Madeline McCormack, and two more on the way, as well as many nephews, nieces, other family members and friends. Proudly served his country during World War II, in the United States Navy. Had a long career as a licensed electrician and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Faithfully served the Lord in many capacities over the past 60 years at Reinhardt Bible Church, Dallas, Country Bible Church, Kaufman and Cedar Creek Bible Church, Kemp. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel, Pastors Bob Parry and Ken Emerson of Cedar Creek Bible Church, presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cedar Creek Bible Church, 700 N. Seven Points Blvd., Kemp, TX 75143.
