We have known Bob for about 12 years. He always came out in to the bodyshop to talk, tell his stories and visit. He always tried to put a positive spin on life. He enjoyed working and meeting with people. He always took time to talk to me (shellye)when I came up to visit. We stopped in at Prestige Ford just about 2 weeks ago. I was able to get a big hug and talk with him for awhile. He was well known and admired in the automotive industry. He will sorely be missed. Bullet was a great man and will really be missed here at the collision center. He would always get on me bout putting more info on my files and I would always help him with his email lol. He was always smiling and never let the small things get to him. He would always tell me that I found a good girl and should stick with this one. He was like an extra grand father for me and i will miss him very much.

Unfortunately because of distance, I was unable to see you as much as I would have liked. I don't really have any memories to share, but I do remember loving to talk to you whenever I could and always looked forward to talking with you. I first worked for Bob back in 1989 at Evans Pontiac ,he gave me the chance to become a bodyman on my own,we crossed paths again 2 years ago at Prestige Ford where we worked together.He always had an interesting story about his younger days and all the crazy things he did.He was well liked and respected by everybody in the auto business.He will be missed by everybody who knew him.My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time…Ron Alms

When I found out I was in the biggest shock of my life, when I walked in the room I couldn't stay in there. I could have said hi and bye to you when I had the chance but i knew you were sick and didn't want to bother you because i thought you would bounce back and i will always regret not doing that. I miss you, I hate that I will never be able to sit on the back patio with you and shoot the sh%t and smoke cigarettes with you ever again. I wish that I would have been able to talk to you more in your last hours and get more wisdom from you, and know more about your life. You were always there for me and I know that you will never be to far from me. You were more like a dad to me than a grandpa and i will never forget that. I will always love you, I will always miss you. You were a good man.

I've know Bob since I was 15 years old (40 years). He didn't like me at first, because I've always been what you see is what you get, and at that age, he didn't much like what he saw! lol! But we became really good friends once I grew up, and I always got a great big bear hug from him whenever I saw him. I adored him. I feel so bad for the family, and know how much he will be missed. I will miss him, and wish I could have had one more hug….xx

I will miss Dad so much. I think the greatest thing I loved about him was how nonjudgemental about people he was. We could bring ANYONE to his house and they were instantly accepted by him, even in our crazy teenage years. Even when he knew someone or something we had chosen for our life wasn't good for us, he had the ability to step back and let us learn on our own. I will always love him and his love for me was unwavering no matter what. I pray I can be just like him when I grow up. I love you,Dad
