Robert Clark's Obituary
CLARK, ROBERT LEE, age 85, of Rowlett, Texas passed away peacefully on Aug 20 at Garland. He was born on january 15, 1927 in Floydada, Texas to his parents, Carl and Marie Clark. Clark was proceded in death by his mother Edd Marie and father Carl Herman. Robert was one of 9. He married Dorothy in Dallas, TX on January 13,1947. They had 3 children. He attendend SMU and studied in Accounting. He served in the Navy for 2 years and served in World War II – Pacific, earning 3 awards. He was a lifelong resident of Garland, Texas for 55 years and employed by The Glass Center as a Owner for 40 years. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church as well as an Inactive Deacon, Garland, TX. He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, Golf. Robert will be remembered by his loving wife, Dorothy, and their children Son Randy Clark, Daughter-in-law Pam of Garland, TX, Daughter Linda Kamensky of Rowlett, TX, and Daughter Julie Day and Son-in-law Jace of Iowa. He is also survived by Sister Carlita Holder, Sister Beverly Ann Ridgeway, Brother Don Clark, Brother Jerry Clark, Jeffery scott clark along with 8 grandchildren, 6 grandchildren, neices and nephews. Predeceased in death by Brothers Billy Joe and Jack, Sisters Nell and Francis. Relatives and friends are invited to Robert’s vistitation at 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday August 22, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home and service will be Thursday August 23, 2012 12:30 pm Restland Wildwood Chapel. Donation will be very apreciated and are able to be to Friendship House at the First Baptist Church in Garland Texas.
