Robert Fred Davis' Obituary
Born April 21, 1943 in Anadarko, OK and passed away October 16, 2014 in Plano, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, George Jefferson and Gertrude Sue Barnett Davis; sisters, Tonia Pauline Gardner, Marie Davis Evans-Lombe, Zella Gardner Horner; brother, George Davis; nephews, James Kent Sykes, Jr., Rick and David Evans-Lombe; brother-in-law, Bick Evans-Lombe. He is survived by sister, Lola Davis Mayes and husband, Paul, numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Susan Evans Lombe, Peter Winters, Ken Kimbrough, Kristine and Layla Hamidou and Wendy Winters.The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Texas Oncology Center, Dallas Presbyterian Hospital, Faith Presbyterian Hospice and Dr. Jeff Goudreau for all their kindness and support during Robert’s illness. Also, Vanessa Lambright and Jennifer Haygood from Restland Funeral Home and the Plano Fire Dept. A memorial service for Robert Davis will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 4350 Sigma Rd., suite 400, Dallas, TX 75244.
