Robert Earl Lee's Obituary
Robert Earl Lee was born April 23, 1958 in Holland, Va., to the parentage of Thomas E. Lee and Margaret B. Wiggins Lee. He grew up in Suffolk, VA and Manhattan, NY he received his formal education at Samuel Gompers Career and Technical Education High School in Bronx, NY. He moved to Texas from New York in his early twenties and worked for Westinghouse Electric in Houston, TX for several years before moving to Dallas, TX. He worked for the Richardson Independent School District for several years before his final position with the City of Richardson Civic Center and Eisemann Center where as he was employed for twenty-two (22) years at the time of his passing. He was also a self-employed contractor. He was united in marriage to Cynthia M Lewis Lee in 2005 and they were blessed with their 1st Granddaughter in 2006 – Amaya “Poohbaby” Wallace for whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by: Father: Thomas E. Lee; Grandfather: Chester A Lee; Grandmother: Lucy P. Lee; Aunts: Della M. Dolberry and Barbara J. Wiggins; Niece: Danielle R. Lee Smalls. He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife: Cynthia M. Lee; Step-Daughters: Richelle E. Corsey and Nikisha R. Lewis: Step-Granddaughters: “Poohbaby” – Amaya Z. Wallace, Ariana Luckey and Shanell D. Corsey; Mother: Margaret B. Lee; Mother-In-Law: Maggie M. Lewis; Brother: James A. Lee; Brother-In-Law: Kennell J. Lewis; Sister: Gwendolyn L. Pope (Eddie); Grandmother: Cherry A. Wiggins; Aunt: Margie A. Brown (Richard), Cheryl C. Wiggins, Dora Scott; Uncles: Joseph A. Wiggins(Linda); Jimmy C. Wiggins (Trinia), Michael J. Wiggins, Clarence L. Robertson, Robert Robertson Jr.; Best Friends/Brothers for Life: Greg McCutchen and Michael White, Sr.; Nephew: Jonathan R. Pope and a host of other relatives, friends and co-workers. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
