Robert Edwin Moon's Obituary
Robert Edwin Moon, 82 of Richardson Texas passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. He was born December 30, 1933, in Rose Bud, Arkansas to the late Silas Irl Moon and Mary Kate Alene Moon. Robert loved his family, two sons, and wife of 63 years. Robert always put your needs before his. He made large problems seem insignificant. After graduation, he joined the Navy serving during the Korean War. Robert was a devout Christian member of Northrich Baptist Church for 50 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved music and playing his bass. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved parents Silas and Mary Moon and sister, Patsy Ann Jones. Left to cherish his memory his wife Patsy and two sons, Robin (Julie) of Addison, Texas, Monty (Rhonda) and grandson Tyler, all of Decatur, TX; two brothers and sister, William Moon (Helen) of Ward, Arkansas, Ham Moon (Donna) of Rose Bud , Arkansas, Mary Kay Parish (Dwain) of Pryor, Oklahoma . The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home and also one hour prior to service held on Friday on December 30, 2016, at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel.
