I was Bob's friend at North Texas. We lived in the same dorm.
My favorite Bob story was about going to the Whataburger on University Drive. Bob ordered a whataburger, fries, a shake, and a Diet Coke. I asked "Bob, what's with the Diet Coke?". He said "You gotta cut back somewhere."
I think about him every time I drive by there. He was a good guy and a true friend.
So sorry Bobby passed away! Remember him from Hillcrest. He was so nice.
Our family was very sad to hear of Bobby’s passing. He was such a kind, gentle soul who saw the good in everyone. He was a good friend. I will always treasure our memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time.
Bobby was a very good friend of mine and he just had a good attitude about everything. I will miss going to sporting events and movies with him, and eating out together. I enjoyed spending time with his family.
Our family is so saddened by Bobby’s death. He has been such a good friend of my sister, Marianne Votteler, and they had known each other since they were in school together. Bobby & Marianne enjoyed many adventures together, taking the DART rail to go out to eat & to a movie, traveling around the city, volunteering at First Baptist together with the Minister of the Day program, attending sporting events, etc. The few times I had the pleasure of meeting him, he was the perfect gentleman, always thinking of others, loving the Lord, and sharing such a positive attitude about life. What a blessing he has been in our lives, especially to Marianne, who will truly miss him.
