Mr. Robert Wayne Gilleland's Obituary
Born in Dallas, 1-18-57: Died 9-9-07. Graduate of North Garland HS where he was Senior Class President, Member of National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Member of Mensa. Attended Stephen F. Austin Univ., served in US Army as a trained combat medic and later became lab technician at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Most current job was in office of Kroger Grocery. Wayne is survived by his father, Robert P. Gilleland and stepmother, Joy; sister, Susan Gail Dorris and husband, Glenn; stepbrother, Tony Thedford and wife, Melody; stepbrother, Mark Thedford; stepsister, Susan Simmons and husband, Don; several nieces and nephews, and significant other, Tawny Blankenship. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Gilleland; brother, Danny, and stepbrother, Heath Thedford. Wayne was a very sweet and giving person and will truly be missed very much by all.
