Robert Randall Goss' Obituary
GOSS, ROBERT RANDALL Born June 13, 1947 in Waco, Texas, passed away December 21, 2010 in Grapevine, Texas. He graduated from UT Arlington with a bachelor’s in business administration. Randy retired from Verizon as a supervisor. He had 25 years experience in the insurance industry. He served as a city councilman of Glen Heights, Texas. Also was a volunteer fireman in Glen Heights. Randy enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team and playing bass guitar in a local band. He was very proud to have been a U.S. Navy Corpman and was a huge Nascar fan. Randy is survived by wife, Karla Goss; children, Britainy Goss, Ashley Goss Moody, Shane Goss, Heather Smith, Malinda Dixon; grandchildren, Randy Nowlan, Cecilia Goss, Savannah Smith, Brock Smith, Nicholas Moody, Aiden Goss, Samuel and Ryder Moody, and Brady Goss; sister, Kim Makovy; dogs, Bumper, Gus, Kema; his African Gray parrot Savage; and several other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
