Robert was born on July 17, 1954, in Houston Texas to his parents, Joe Burns Holmes and Marcella Marie Messmer-Holmes. He was married to Pamela Drake on September 14, 1974, in Dallas Texas. He enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling and cooking. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Burns Holmes and Marcella Marie Messmer Holmes. Brother, Joe Burns Holmes, Jr and grandson, Dakota Ruff. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Holmes, daughter Crystal Holmes, daughter Marcella Holmes, daughter Sandra Holmes, granddaughter Mary Holmes and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time.
