Bob and Belinda have been our dearest friends for many years. Bob and I worked together as partners on patrol with the Dallas Police Department. After we were both promoted to sergeant, we came togther again as inspector sergeants in the Dallas Internal Inspections Unit. Later, when a new Chief reorganized the DPD staff, the Inspections Unit was disbanded and we found ourselfs back in patrol as supervisors. Although we worked the same shift together, we were in different parts of the city, but tried to get together every night to meet for a cup of coffee when the radio quieted down. Bob was the best man that I have ever known. Always happy and smiling, he was a true hard working professional, honorable and considerate at work and at home. His word was his bond, never ever broken, a true and loving Christian husband and father, a friend I could always depend on. After he left the police force, we continued to see Bob and Belinda often, each and every visit being so enjoyable and full of love. He was like a brother to me and I believe that feeling was mutual. We had alot of fun together with great stories to tell and tons of laughs. Bob loved life, he loved his wonderful wife, he loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all his friends and most important, he loved his God. Our deepest condolences to Belinda and the family. Ann and I will sorely miss him, but he will always be in our memories and prayers. Rest in peace my brother.
