Robert K. "Bob" Morgan's Obituary
Robert K. “Bob” Morgan, age 68, of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025.
Born on April 16, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is a former asphalt equipment broker (Morgan/Durrell, Cedarapids, Dillman Equipment, and Gencor) and was known for his integrity, work ethic, and easygoing nature.
Bob made Richardson his home for the past 22 years, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and strong relationships. He enjoyed his family first and foremost, cheering on the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and the occasional football game.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Morgan, and his children: Devin (Avery), Geoff (Haley), Bobby, and Kelsey, and James from his previous marriage. He was a proud grandfather to Alexandria, Hudson, Gunner, and Barrett. Bob also leaves behind his sisters Marcia, Susan, and Beverly (Gary Skidmore), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Florida in early September, where family will gather to honor and remember Bob, his favorite vacation spot and it held a special place in his heart.
Bob will be most remembered for his quiet strength, dry wit, and the deep love he had for his family and those close to him.
