Robert Charles Kent Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Charles (“Bob”) Kent, Jr. passed away on January 5, 2017, at the age of 36. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Bob lived life with a passion that few could match. His brilliant smile and unwavering positivity brought light into the world of every person he encountered. His drive and work ethic enabled him to build a successful commercial real estate company, Kent Realty, from the ground up, and his generous spirit led him to share the fruits of his labor with those he loved. Remembered as sincere, charismatic, and kind-hearted, Bob’s tremendous impact on those around him will never be forgotten. Bob is survived by his father, Robert Kent; mother, Danna Kent; sister, Jennifer Jackson; brother-in-law, Chris Jackson; and nephews, Benjamin Jackson and Lucas Jackson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2017, in the chapel of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Bob’s final resting place will be at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the Kent family requests that donations be made to Scottish Rite Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
