Robert Allen Lackland's Obituary
Robert Allen “Bob” Lackland was born January 27, 1928 in Palestine, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Kristine “Kris” Booi-Rapacz and Kathleen “Kat” Hill; step-sons, Scot and Chris Martin; grandchildren, Jessica Lauren Rapacz and Brin Hill; as well as his sister, Carolyn Gresham, Aunt Lela and Uncle Virgil Harris; and Aunt Mildred and Uncle Proctor Moore. Bob was a graduate of Palestine High School, and obtained an engineering degree through Southern Methodist University. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and a competitive bridge player. Bob was also a member of Toastmasters and Mensa. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Restland’s Abbey Chapel.
