To the LaDue family, I am sorry for your loss.Bob was an influence to many at IBM; myself one of 1,000s. Our paths crossed in late 1970s, after arriving to Dallas, One Main Place, IBM Sales Training from Northeast. Bob’s calmness, self assuredness, thoughtfulness (along with many other fine qualities) were always present. A True Gentleman: looking for good, for fairness; deliberate and determined when needed.Bob practice “servanthood” before the word existed- placing character over career. Like many, I am deeply indebted and grateful to him. World’s loss, heaven’s gain.
I met Bob after my wife and I moved to Dallas, Tx in 1982. He was one of “THE BEST” managers I ever met in IBM, a company known for its “OUTSTANDING” managers. He was compassionate and understanding in every sense of the words. May your family have the joy of knowing that anyone who met him always thought the “BEST of him. May he RIP…
I am so saddened by the news of Bob’s passing. He was such a commanding and dignified man…I always loved hearing his words of wisdom about life. “May you take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us.” I am sure his Homecoming with Bev was a joyous one.Your family has such amazing strength and compassion. The care he received by you ALL is both commendable and admirable. Your Father would be proud.May the memories you shared comfort and sustain you in the weeks and months ahead. With love and deepest sympathy as we remember Bob.Rebecca
I had the pleasure of working for Bob Ladue in White Plains, NY. He was a true gentleman and an outstanding manager. His door was always open and he was candid with his advice. His staff of managers and employees thought highly of his managerial style. It is obvious he made a great impression on me since I worked for him in the late 1960’s. He was very instrumental in the advancement of my career. He was a fine man and sure he will be missed. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family.
Our greatest sympathy goes to the sweetest family Bob could have asked for. I feel as Bette’s little sister, we know each of you. She had certainly bragged on all of you and told Bob’s Denton family of the beautiful love you have given Him as he was ill and the tremendous love and respect you had for him always. You all outdid yourself in taking care of your sweet Dad in his final days! What greater gift can children, grandchildren and great grandchildren give a father and Papa? We mourn with you. We loved knowing
he made Bette so happy and we loved the fact that they
were happiest in God’s house with God’s people.
We rejoiced
that Bob is safely in Jesus presence with no more worries of this ole world. We love each of you and will miss our Bob’s enormous presence. He made my sister so
happy by loving her.
To God be the Glory. His plan is always perfect.
Ever the gentleman, Bob and his humor, his laugh will be greatly missed. Rest in peace,
