Robert Michael Landwermeyer May 23, 1949 – November 15, 2025
Robert Michael “Mike” Landwermeyer, beloved dad, papa, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025. Mike was a man defined by strength, dedication, and an unwavering work ethic. He approached life with humor, generosity, and a warmth that drew people in. His infectious laugh will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Mike was preceded in death by his partner, David Watts; his father, John Robert Landwermeyer; his mother, Betty Hockersmith; and his son, Todd Landwermeyer.
He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Moore, and her husband, Seth, of Frisco; his daughter-in-law, Rhonda Landwermeyer, of Royse City; and his siblings: Gregory Landwermeyer and wife, Paula, of Canton; Debbie Strain and husband, Chuck, of Rowlett; and Brenda Boylan and husband, Chris, of Tyler; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mike was a proud and devoted papa to Courtney Smith, Jacob Markum, and Katie Lee, and a delighted great-grandfather to Conor McCoy and Blakelyn Lee, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home in the Abbey Chapel. In honor of Mike, the family invites donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. May his memory bring comfort and be a blessing to all who loved him.
