Robert Lee Lanham's Obituary
Lanham, Robert was born on December 29, 1922 in Troup, Texas and passed away on August 4, 2013 in Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther House Lanham and daughter, Carol Jo Stephens. Robert is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Fishpaw; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Blaine Holbrook; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Beth; Richard and Jan; and Jimmy and Mary; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Robert served in the Navy during WWII. He received his master’s degree from North Texas State University. Robert also taught and retired in the Dallas School system. He was sole proprietor of R&J Sheetmetal. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 2:30 PM in Restland Memorial Chapel with a reception from noon to 2:00 PM.
