Steve and the Lucas family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your Dad was an interesting man. I know he will be missed greatly.
I miss my dear friend Bob. We had a lot of laughs together. We spent a lot of time on the road with Free to Be and it was such a joy that I was able to share Bob and his amazing story to so many others. I loved asking him questions about his life. He had so many wonderful stories. I hope his stories are forever told. I am so thankful I knew you Bob. Miss you.
Rest in peace dear cousin. We know how much you loved “Imy” and John, aunt and uncle. The whole family loved you and were so grateful for your service to your country and especially your safe return home. You will be greatly missed.
It was an honor (and a lot of fun!) knowing Bob. We will always remember all the loving family stories of funny things that Bob did. Those stories had us laughing with tears every time ! “One of a kind,” that’s for sure. He is a model for all of us on how to enter senior years, how to stay young at heart, and how to enjoy life ! We have our magazine that has him on the cover, and we will treasure it forever! RIP Bob….We are thankful that you lived such a full and long life. It was indeed a pleasure knowing you.
Bob was quite a character, a gentleman, WWII hero, all-around great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. He will indeed be missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.
