Robert Keith Lusk's Obituary
Robert Keith Lusk was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 1, 1946. He passed on to eternal life on September 27, 2014. Robert went to work for Dover Elevator Corporation at the age of 21. He worked his way up through sales, to district manager. Robert worked in the elevator industry for 41 years. After his retirement from the elevator industry, he enjoyed his “post retirement” job at the Grapevine Golf course, where he made many wonderful friends. Over the years he enjoyed many hobbies, such as backpacking, flying his airplane, riding motorcycles, and playing golf. He was a gentle and generous man, known for his sense of humor. Robert will be remembered as a most loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Paul K. Lusk, Jr. He leaves behind his daughter, Buffy Powell and husband, Corbin Powell; grandchildren, Amy, Mary and William Powell; sister, Brenna Lusk Elliott and husband, Harvey Elliott; nephew, Dino Paul Alessio and many dear friends. The memorial service for Robert will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 03, 2014 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to gather after the service at the home of Welby and Sharyn Pinney, located at 511 Arrowhead Drive, Richardson, Texas, 75080 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes, Community Hospice of Texas in Ft. Worth, or Hospice of Midland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
