Robert Martin's Obituary
MARTIN, Robert “Bob” Passed away peacefully on December 28, 2016 in his home in Dallas. Bob, the youngest child of six, was born in Warrensburg, Missouri on September 16, 1933. Bob followed in his Father’s footsteps (who was a veteran of World War I) by proudly serving in the U.S. Navy for four years. Bob graduated from Central Missouri State University with a degree in Business Administration after his Naval service. He retired from Texas Instruments as a Quality Assurance Engineer after 25 years of loyal service. Bob and his wife, Eleanore, had just happily celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary a month before his death. Bob was an avid golfer who had a personality that has never met a stranger. He loved his family more than anything. In addition to his wife Eleanore, Bob is survived by his children Bert Martin and Chris Heslep; Cynthia and Duane Zea; Doug and Robin Martin; four grandchildren Ryan Zea (wife Mallory), Taylor Zea, Cole Martin, Morgan Martin; great grandchild Keegan Zea. Bob will be laid to rest during a family service at the DFW National Cemetery. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
