Robert Thomas Martin's Obituary
Robert Thomas Martin passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2019. He was born May 9, 1942, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Robert Thomas Martin and Beatrice Reynolds Martin. He graduated from Dangerfield High School in 1960, and went on to attend The University of Texas where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1965. Bob served in the United States Army and worked as a pharmacist during that period. After discharge, he continued his career as a dedicated pharmacist in the Dallas area, until he retired in 2013.He is preceded in death by his parents and twin sister, Claire Martin Billingslea. He is survived by his wife, Paula; sons, Blake and Brent Martin of Dallas, Tx; nephew, Ray McNeil! and his wife, Josefa, of Austin, Tx; and numerous beloved cousins.Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.A celebration of his life service will be held on Monday, May 20, at 1:00PM in Ellis Chapel, Park Cities Baptist Church, where Bob was a member for 32 years. A graveside service will follow at Restland, at 3:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
