Mr. Robert Henry Mcallister's Obituary
ROBERT MCALLISTER
Robert Henry McAllister was born April 25, 1936 in Coleville, California and died March 24, 2022 in Richardson, Texas at the age of 85. “Mr. Mac” was a family man who followed his two daughter’s activities in sports and their careers as well. He graduated high school and entered military service with the Air Force and served as Airman First Class. He was very proud to serve our country.
Robert had a long career as a computer programmer and worked for several until he retired from Service Bureau Corporation. Upon his retirement he formed his own successful company providing payroll data processing contracting with several companies large and small.
He was a long-time member of The Wylie Antique Machinery Society and loved to restore and show antique machines with a passion for antique tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, and daughters Jean McKenzie and Mary McAllister. Also survived by son in law Darrell McKenzie, two grandchildren Lindsey and James McKenzie and wife Christina McKenzie and his great grandson that brought him great joy, Jaxon.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 23rd at 2pm at Restland Funeral Home. He will be joining the rest of the family in the Coleville, California Cemetery.
