Golfer, father, beloved husband and friend to many; Robert (Bob) M. Spengler was born on November 2, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed on September 5, 2017.He is survived by his wife of 62 years Delores F. Spengler, daughter Dawn Curtis, son Robert Spengler Jr, by their spouses Richard Swink and Sandy Spengler, Dawn and Richard’s children Kyli and Chase and his wife Alana Curtis, and by Robert and Sandy’s children Caleb, Joshua and Trevorson Spengler.Bob spent 1952 through 1954 serving in the Army overseas in Korea prior to graduating from Texas Christian University in in 1959. Five years later in 1964, Bob and his wife Delores were some of the first members of Canyon Creek Country Club. Next to his family and friends, golf was the love of his life; and his contagious smile captivated hearts until the very end.The service will be held at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas Tx 75243 (Wildwood Chapel) at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 9th.
