Robert William Mueller's Obituary
On July 24, 2019, heaven gained an angel when Robert William Mueller, 68 of Rowlett, TX left this life on Earth.Bob was born November 8, 1950 to Eugene & Allie Belle (Hargis) Mueller in Rolla, MO. He entered into a loving marriage with Jeri Yarbrough on January 3, 2009.Bob graduated from Quincy High School in Quincy, MI in 1969 where he played football and didn’t lose a game his senior year. He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and served his country in the Vietnam War. Following military service, Bob began a career in retail food sales with Eckrich and earned a National Sales award and many regional sales accolades. He worked for over 40 years in the food industry and retired in 2015. In retirement, he loved travel, enjoying his grandchildren, watching the Dallas Cowboys, appreciating antique cars, spending time in Florida, and relaxing in the pool. He will be remembered as a wonderful friend to so many, always helpful, giving, caring, full of laughter and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.Bob is survived by his wife Jeri Mueller of Rowlett, TX, two daughters Stacy (Charles Janson) Mueller of Phoenix, AZ, Angie (Jeremy) Carpenter of Dallas, TX, two Sisters; Janet (Jerry) Maynard of Reading, MI, Carolyn (Charlie) Leavitt of Coldwater, MI, five Brothers; Jack (Joyce) Mueller of Coldwater, MI, Mike Mueller of Coldwater, MI, Ron (Judy) of Hillsdale, MI, and Lou (Mary Ann) Mueller of Zapata, TX.; three grandchildren: Miles and Mazzy Carpenter of Dallas, TX and Claire Janson of St. Charles, MO, many nieces & nephews and countless beloved friends.Bob was preceded in death by his parents Eugene & Allie Belle Mueller, siblings Violet Joeckle, Dorthia Hance, Helen Gibson, Billie Mueller & Eugeneia Mueller.Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas 75243Celebration Lunch to follow service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob’s memory to the American Heart Association or organizations that support United States military veterans.
