Robert Craig Neely's Obituary
Robert Craig Neely went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 20, 2023. He was born April 10, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to the parents of Rachel Moon Neely and John Arlen Neely. Craig and his family moved to Dallas and lived in the Lake Highlands area where he attended Wallace Elementary, Lake Highlands Junior High, and Lake Highlands High School, graduating in 1971. He attended Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX and graduated in 1975 with a BBA in marketing from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. He married the love of his life, Sabrena Marie Tuttle on September 1, 1978. They lived in Richardson, TX and were blessed with 2 sons, Justin Craig Neely and John Robert Neely. Craig enjoyed a 40 plus year successful career as a sales executive in the specialty chemicals industry. He was VP of sales at Carroll Company in Garland for 22 years, sales executive at SSDC for 2 years and then President of Creative Fragrances for over 22 years. After retirement, Craig enjoyed most of his time with his family, caring for kids and grandkids, never missing dance, soccer, baseball, and drill team activities, among many others. When he wasn’t with family, he was entertaining and being entertained by his MANY friends. He was only a phone call away and always stayed in touch and available. He loved “lunch on the patio” with the guys. Craig maintained a strong bond with his sons, Justin and John. He was their friend, confidante, counselor, life coach, and protector. They have affectionately described him as stubborn, loving, and loyal. Craig adored his Sabrena, and she considered him her real life Prince Charming. Craig was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sabrena Marie Neely; his son and daughter in law, Justin and Magda, their two daughters Madisen Magdalena and Emma Elizabeth; his son and daughter in law, John and Callie and their son Henry Robert, and daughter Hadley James; his sister Pamela Ann Richardson, husband Warren Dean Richardson, and children Matthew Erik, and Megan Richardson Chin. “It’s not the years in your life that count. Funeral services will be held April 28, 2023 at 2pm at Hope Fellowship Frisco East.
