Robert Thomas Paul Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Thomas Paul, Jr., 63, of Garland, Texas, passed away on June 8th, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Robert, more commonly known as Bob, was born to his father Robert Thomas Paul, Sr. and his mother Jacquelyn Snow on August 7th, 1959 in Rockland, Maine. After graduating high school in Hampden, Maine in 1977, he went on to study Forestry at The University of Maine. Bob graduated with a degree in Forestry in 1980. After a short while he then moved to Texas and began a career in Land Surveying. In 1984, Bob met Sheryl at a local blues bar. They were married in 1993. Bob and Sheryl went on to have three children, Matthew, Jesse, and Cheyenne. In 1992, after years of experience and education, Bob was recognized as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors. His career would lead him to many places, making many friends. Bob is survived by his wife Sheryl, his three children, Matthew, Jesse, Cheyenne Lyon and her husband Robert Lyon, his sister Valerie, his four legged couch buddy Amos, along with a host of lifelong friends and found family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for funeral expenses and arrangements, to be made through his son Matthew.
