Robert N. Polskin's Obituary
Robert Nathaniel Polskin, a beloved father, grandfather, partner, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was born on May 1, 1950, and grew up in the central New Jersey town of North Plainfield, NJ.
Robert was an excellent athlete, excelling in swimming and tennis. He spent his childhood summers at Camp Kenwood in New Hampshire and Bucks Rock Camp in Pennsylvania, where he built his own electric guitar. As a teenager and young man, he spent his summers at the Casa Kibbutz in Beach Haven, NJ, where he owned and operated a house-cleaning service.
Robert was extremely talented with his hands; there was nothing he couldn’t fix, repair, or build. He remodeled the kitchen and bathroom in his house and rebuilt the engine of his car. Robert had very high standards for all the work he did, believing that when you do a job, you do it right and do it honestly.
In the last years of his life, Robert was a devoted partner to Lucy Robinson, who cared for him with tremendous love and compassion until his last breath.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Danielle Wynne, and her three sons, Liam, Preston, and Everett Wynne; his son, Sean Livingston; and his partner, Lucy Robinson.
Contributions in Robert’s name should be directed to the Jewish National Fund (JNF Plant a tree).
