Robert G. Rafferty's Obituary
RAFFERTY, ROBERT G. was born in Salt Lake City, UT, grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Monterrey High School and Texas Tech University. He worked in commercial real estate and was a partner at IBB Design Fine Furnishings. Bob was an avid golfer and cyclist. He was greatly loved by his grandchildren and they referred to him as “Big Bob”. He was an amazing mentor to his family and friends and was a faithful member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. Bob is survived by his wife, Beth; daughter, Shay Geyer and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Jaylie Geyer and Brooklyn Geyer; and sisters, Sharon Goldston and Patty Mowery and husband, Mike. Open Visitation, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
