Robert Oran Reed's Obituary
Robert Oran Reed, born July 19, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on December 31, 2017. Bob graduated from Northside High School in Ft. Worth in 1947. He then played semi-pro baseball for Corpus Christi for several years. Bob was employed with Weiser Lock Company for over 35 years. He lived in Houston, Texas the last 40 years and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Houston. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Neely Reed; parents, Oran Thomas Reed and Antonia Krupa Reed; and son-in-law, Glenn Randall Clark. He is survived by his daughters, Janie Clark, Cara Reed, Brenda Brunette and son-in law, David Brunette; grandchildren, Ryan Clark and wife Meredith, Reagan Clark, Reed Brunette, and Neely Brunette; great-grandchild, Henlee Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Jerry and Betty De La Cruz; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Denton State Supported Living Center.
