Robert Clark Retoff's Obituary
RETOFF, ROBERT CLARK 51, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2014. Bob was born in Streator, IL December 6, 1962. Bob graduated from Denton High School, Denton, TX and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas, Denton, TX. Bob has been a long time resident of Plano, TX. After relocating to Denton, Texas with his family in 1975, Bob began repairing and eventually obtaining a sponsor and racing superbike motorcycles across the country including tracks such as Sears Point Raceway. Following graduation from UNT, Bob began a real estate career first in investments and then in homebuilding, a career he loved that lasted his entire lifetime. Bob has been a devoted husband to Debra and father to the “twins”. He and Debra loved watching Michael and Nadia grow to excel in academics and sports – rock speed climbing and volleyball respectively at school and club. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Retoff of Denton, TX. He is survived by his beloved family, wife, Debra Retoff, twins, Michael and Nadia of Plano, TX; mother, Sharon Retoff of Denton, TX, father-in-law, Mike Donohoe of Carrollton, TX. Other survivors include sister Julie Brown and husband Randy of Streator, IL; sister, Jill of Denton, TX; brother, Joe Retoff and Pamela of Austin, TX; sister, Janice Strine and husband John of Littleton, CO and niece Lindsay Strine of Cheyenne, WY and nephew, Danny Strine of Littleton, CO. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, a reception will follow the service.
