I still miss you with all my heart. I wake up everyday thinking of you. You will always be my BFLTC.
My father and I met Robert just by chance , some two years ago . What more awesome is it , to have been a friend of Robert Rippy . If God would allow me one single wish : Bring Robert back ! Sometimes there are not answers available , for what we need to Ask ! There will not be a perfectionist , come hence our way , for many years , the purist has gone HOME !
Robert and I spent a year together at Clay Cooley VW Park Cites and Richardson. He was one person I could count on not to panic. I remember we had major problem once and I rushed to the store – Robert was there in his office with a calm look. I said “what are we going to do?” – He looked up and said “Trent, let’s start with prayer and see where that takes us.” Rippy was a special kind of person and I do very much miss his prayer.
I’m so shocked and saddened to just hear about this news. I truly, truly liked Robert and had the pleasure of meeting him after being an employee under his General Manager title in the car business. Occasionally we would see each other out and he would go out his way to speak to me or I do the same if I saw him 1st well after he left the company we met. I can only remember the authentic things about him and his care GET THINGS DONE. NOTHING BUT POSITIVE MEMORIES OF YOU SIR. My condolences to the Rippy family in your time of grief.
I just heard about Ripp, he hired me in 1994 at McKinney Dodge and when we moved to Dallas Dodges current location we had a blast. He gave me a send off when I told him I had accepted a gig on the Luxury side of our business with Crest Auto Group, he knew I was headed to a store where growth would be in my future. Ripp was a great Leader and friend, my prayer is that God By way of The Holy Ghost and Jesus will continue showering Ripp’s Family with comfort and His Peace!! You’ll be missed my man!! See you in Heavenly Places one day!!
John and I are so sorry for your loss. We are praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
Rest In Peace, my nephew. You were special from the beginning. You were a beautiful person and a shinning light. I love you more than you could ever know. Aunt Pam
