Robert William Signall's Obituary
SIGNALL, ROBERT WILLIAM born on May 4, 1932 and passed away on May 19, 2014 after a long illness. He grew up in Royal, Iowa, where he met friends he would keep for a lifetime. After he graduated from high school, he joined the Navy and served four years with a Naval Air team on the USS Essex during the Korean War. After the war, he earned a degree in business and history from the University of Iowa. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy; his daughters, Jennifer and Susan; his son, Greg; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline; son-in-laws, Justin White, and Steve King; and grandchildren, Olivia Signall, Joshua and Jacob White, and Taylor King. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church.
