Robert Wesley Taylor's Obituary
TAYLOR, ROBERT WESLEY born September 19, 1959 in Dallas, Texas passed away suddenly July 27, 2014 at the age of 54. Wesley graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1978 and attended Cedar Valley College where he received a degree in mechanics. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Virgil Wayne Pope; grandfather, Virgil Vinson Pope, and grandparents, Weldon and Charlotte Taylor. Survived by mother, Joyce Yvonne Taylor; father, Robert Weldon Taylor; grandmother, Colera Mae Pope; sister and brother-in-law, George and Rhonda Kay Xenos; nephew, Pete Xenos; brother, Rod Taylor and family; sister, Tina Taylor and family; aunts: Sheila Roidopoulos and family; Charlotte Simpson and family; great uncle, Floyd Murray and family; cousins, Tim Pope and family; Sara Huey and family; devoted friends, Tammy Whiteside and Randy Williford; his faithful feline companion, Itty Bitty. Wesley was loved by many and will be forever missed by his family and friends. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Restland’s Abbey Chapel with Mr. Larry Marshall officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Salem Cemetery in Alba, Texas.
