Robert Lee Thompson, 94, of Richardson, Texas died on Friday, July 12, 2019 in Plano, Texas. He was born on Tuesday, May 26, 1925, to George Thompson and Winnie Thompson in Wichita Falls, Texas. He married Bobbie Sue Miller on April 23, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. Robert was a grocer and business owner for 43 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge of Texas, and served in the Navy from July 1, 1943 to July 4, 1946, as a navigator. Robert is survived by his wife, Bobbye Thompson of Richardson, Texas, his daughter; Robyn Thompson and husband Randy Birge of Frisco, Texas, his son; James Thompson and wife Gena of Anacortes, Washington, his grandchildren; Eric Birge and wife Renee of Collinsville, Texas, Sarah Birge and Sam Schnuer of Houston, Texas, Adam Birge and wife Amy of Houston, Texas, Justin Birge of Dallas, Texas, Emily Birge of McKinney, Texas, Tyler Thompson of Seattle Washington, Graham Thompson and wife Monique of Marysville, Washington, and Grayden Thompson of Marysville, Washington, and ten great grandchildren.
