Robert Eugene Wade, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Eugene Wade, Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 28, 2016 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 87. Bob was born on April 2, 1929 to John Henderson and Mary Ethel Wade. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle to many. A successful attorney and respected veteran, he will be dearly missed. Bob lived a full life and is survived by many loved ones, including his wife of nearly 65 years, Myra Boltin. He is survived by his oldest son, Robert E. Wade, Jr., his wife Karen, and their three children Scott (Chrissy), Christina (Sam), and Matthew (Julia). He is also survived by his niece Valerie (Chuck), and her children Leigh-Anna and Zach. Bob also had five great grandchildren with one on the way and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his youngest son Kevin, brothers Earl and Jackie, and his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Restland Abbey Chapel with visitation from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at Tony’s Pizza and Pasta following the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
