Robert James Wellott Sr.'s Obituary
Robert served our nation proudly in the US Army, and ultimately made a career as a project engineer for Texas Instruments. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church of Richardson, and greatly enjoyed reading, philopsophy, cooking, baking, and most importantly, his family. His family and friends fondly remember him as very intelligent, reserved, complex, compassionate, deep thinking and very passionate about things that matter most. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Shawn O’Malley Wellott; brother, Henry Morehouse Wellott, and sister, Jayne Winters. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rose Marie Wellott; brother, Andrew Wellott; sons, Robert James, Jr. and his wife Linda, Bryan Andrew and his wife Gigi; daughters, Kathleen Rose Wellott, Allyson “Jodi” Wellott, and Mary Margaret Wilkerson and her husband Gary; daughter-in-law Kathy Schattle Wellott; grandchildren, Tana Lynn Wellott, Natalie Irene Carter, Coty Rose Silva, Kristinia Diane Emmrich, Ryan Patrick Wellott, Bryana Lynnette Wellott, Austin Daniel Wellott, Alexys Liann Wellott, James Christopher Wilkerson and Katelyn Brin Wellott; and three great-grandchildren: Nikolas Austin Wilkerson, Ayden James Wellott, and Frank Silva V.
