Robert Ernest Wilson's Obituary
Robert Ernest Wilson was born on April 21, 1930 in Palmer, Texas and passed away on February 16, 2015 in Richardson, Texas at Methodist Hospital. He is preceded in death by his six siblings, Jack Wilson, Malcolm Wilson, Lois Wilson Cleveland, Joe L. Wilson, Dorothy Mae Wilson Arnold, and Margie Lee Wilson Rogers; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Wilson. Bob was the baby of the family. He is survived by his loving wife, Edith Wilson; son, Robert Edward Wilson; daughter, Donna Jean Brooks; son-in-law, Jeffery W. Brooks; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Brooks, Lillian Faith Brooks, and Addelyn Hope Brooks. Bob served in the United States Navy from December 26, 1950 until November 16, 1952 and served on the U.S.S Rochester (CA124) during the Korean conflict, Korean War. Family will receive friends on February 19, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Bob Wilson will be held on February 20, 2015 at 10:00am at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orchard Hills Baptist Church, 3033 Saturn Road Garland, Texas 75041.
